“Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel, and they don’t seek Yahweh!” -Isaiah.

Yahweh Cloudrider, Lord of the Jews, announced to his people around the 6th century BC that he was a jealous god and that he alone was to be worshipped, his wife Asherah to be forgotten, and a strict code of monolatry was to be followed. He delivered the Jews from their enemies and delivered unto them 10 Commandments which were not to be broken, as well as further revealing more divine laws to prophets through the ages, and threatening eternal torture as the wages of disobedience.

Yahweh separates himself from his rival gods in that, while Zeus and Odin consider themselves fallible, Yahweh holds himself to be perfect and inerrant, and the only divine being truly worthy of worship.

This tactic has arguably worked very well for Yahweh as from his humble beginnings as a Jewish god of Storms, he has came to be worshipped by more than 50% of the mortal sphere.
